Dinner

All of the kids have jobs to do related to dinner, whether it is "set table", "clear table" etc.  This week Camryn's job was to clear the table.  Now this is the 7th day of doing this, with Kyle loading the dishwasher afterwards and wanting her to hurry up and finish, so he can begin his job.  Leave it to Camryn to make it fun.  She puts on her Home Depot waitress apron (including a pad of paper in case any of us want to order dessert), grabs a tray out of the playroom and is ready to clear the table....with a smile:)   ~Teri
Kenzi was not interested in the dinner tonight.  She was telling us that she wanted something else.  We were not understanding what she was saying.  It sounded like cheese, or swiss cheese, but that wasn't it, so we got her out of her highchair to SHOW us what she wanted......it was RICE KRISPIES!!!  She sat there and fed herself two bowls of Rice Krispies, happy as a clam.   ~Teri

Camryn lost her 3rd tooth!

Oh, Happy Day!!  We are the family who's babies don't get teeth until REALLY late and therefore, they don't lose them until REALLY late.  It is monumental when we lose a tooth at our house:)   ~Teri

What a beautiful day!

The girls were out playing while I was making dinner tonight.  It was in the 80s or 90s and sunny......Beautiful!   ~Teri

I think that when Kenzi and I were outside this morning, that one of these HUGE, fat, bumblebees dive bombed her by her ear.  She didn't get stung, but whenever she sees them, she covers her ears.  They are swarming around our "playgound", as Kenzi calls it.  Anyone know if they sting?  Some of my kids keep saying they don't sting, but I kind of wanted a more reliable source, no offense.  Sadie jumps up in the air and tries to bite them.  I actually think she got one today.  Two reasons to hope they don't sting.   ~Teri

My Favorite Modest Prom Pics

Doesn't Kristie look so pretty? That was so fun to get her ready, and to see her have such a fun time at Modest Prom. (Modest Prom is a church dance for 16-18 year olds. The girls all wear beautiful modest dresses and the guys and girls all dance to good music and just have good, clean fun. Refreshing, huh?) ~Teri

The day after.......Here is Kristie pulling out all the bobbi pins from her updo. One rubberband and 56 bobbi pins later, she was done:) Phew! ~Teri

Saturday at the Salon

Kenzi got her first haircut on the same day that I got my haircut, and Kristie got an updo for Modest Prom.  She sat SO still and was SO serious the whole time.  ~Teri

Camryn was so cute watching Kenzi get her haircut, I just HAD to take a picture of her!  Camryn was so excited and proud of Kenzi sitting so nicely:)  ~Teri
TA-DA!  Kenzi's first haircut!  We could NOT get her to smile!

Next was Kristie and her updo.  Luckily Scott came to pick up Kenzi at the salon after her haircut, because Kristie has a TON of hair and her updo took quite awhile, but turned out so cute!  Thanks, Erika!!   ~Teri

Kristie and I went to get her toes and fingernails done after the updo.  Of course I couldn't just sit there and watch her get her pedicure, I made good use of our limited time and got my toesies done too:)  I'll spare you a picture of mine though.   ~Teri

Daffys

Kenzi is an outside girl.  We love to see all the daffys in bloom!   ~Teri

So cute!

Kenzi watches the big kids playing Wii High School Musical Sing-It and she wanted a turn:)  ~Teri

Fun with Youth Group

Kristie has so much fun on Tuesday nights at youth group. Of course the boys have fun too, they just don't take the camera along to take fun pictures! We are so blessed to have such great Young Men and Young Women leaders at church.

Kristie met David...

Blog Post: BY KRISTIE

So: I just got back from MEETING David Archuleta with Ashley! It was AWESOME! He is SO CUTE! I love him! I got his autograph too! It was priceless! I said Hi and I asked him if he could write my name on my shirt and sign it. But he said, " Ummm, Sorry, I'm not allowed to". I feel so bad for him. He has SO many restrictions. There were security guards just SURROUNDING him. It was ridiculous! But, besides for the strict rules,
I got to talk to David and it was SURREAL!

I love David!

~Kristie~
SO EXCITED!
Ashley is an awesome friend and we had an absolutely amazing time!

We turned our backs for one minute and....

Kenzi found some markers:(  She colored her hands and feet, before Scott caught her.  It is General Conference weekend, so we watch Conference on Satellite at home on Saturday and Sunday and Camryn was coloring while watching the first session and she left her markers out.  Oops!! ~Teri

Monkey See, Monkey Do

Callahan was reading a book on the couch and Kenzi grabbed a book and joined him:)  ~Teri

Look! Ponytails!

Kenzi finally has enough hair for two palm trees on top, I mean ponytails!  Woohoo!  ~Teri
Kenzi picked Danielle's boots to wear when everyone was over for Kyle's birthday dinner.  Whenever I have stamp camps, and everyone's shoes are at the front door, she takes her pick:)  The girls have taught her well!

Kyle is 18 years old!!

Kyle is 18years old!  How did that happen??? This is a picture of Kyle and his girlfriend, Danielle.  I made his favorite mint ice cream cake and his hands are freezing in this  picture:)   We had our families over for a birthday dinner and celebration.  We were excited that Danielle could come too:)   She is a sweetheart:)  Her little brother and Camryn went to preschool together!  Small world!
