Breakfast of Champions

Carson was chosen by his teachers to participate in the Breakfast of Champions. The students are chosen based on the 6 Pillars of Character which are Caring, Citizenship, Fairness, Respect, Responsibility, and Trustworthiness. Here he is pictured with his friends. It is so nice when the kids get recognized for just being good kids:) Good job, Carson!

Kenzi, Addy (and her mom), Mitchell (and his mom), Kyle, Kristie, Carson, Callahan, Camryn, Mommy and Daddy went to Build a Bear and then to the Food Court for McDonald's (where she ate most of my broccoli cheddar soup instead of her chicken nuggets) and then we had her favorite cinnamon muffins for her "cake":)

Happy 3rd Birthday to you, Kenzi:)

More Build a Bear PIcs

Giving the bunnies a bath and doin' their hair (fur).
Making their birth certificate for the bunny....named....Bunny:)

Build A Bear Birthday for Kenzi!

It was so cute to see Kenzi, Addy and Mitchell pick out a stuffed animal to make:)
They all ended up with bunnies:)
Kenzi wasn't so sure about pushing the pedal to make the stuffing come out. It was kind of LOUD, so she plugged her ears.

The lady at Build A Bear told Kenzi to give the heart a kiss and instead, Kenzi gave the Bunny a kiss:)

Callahan's 5th Grade Music Program

All the 5th graders had to choose an American Hero to dress up as for their music program. Callahan picked Bill Gates. They had to introduce themselves as they went on stage and then all their songs were about American Heroes. It was really cute:)

Tree Cutting

Our neighbors had the tree between our houses cut down. A branch had recently fallen on our house and I think that made them a bit nervous. It did me! Anyhow it was fascinating to watch how they did it! We had front row seats if we stood at our dining room window or our bedroom window.

National Honor Society Induction Ceremony

Kristie was inducted into the Strongsville High School National Honor Society. We are so proud of her and how hard she works to get good grades. Way to go Kristie!!

Stamp A Stack Class

I had my annual Christmas Stamp a Stack Class where we stamp 25 cards, 5 of each of 5 designs. I typically have 15 or so people attend. This year I had 37!! That's a LOT of cutting! But lots of fun too:)

What a hoot!

Kenzi and I met Scott and Kyle at Chipotle for lunch today. Like always, Scott ripped the top off the bag of tortilla chips and set it on the table. As we were starting to eat, Kenzi was singing and playing, like usual, and then we look over at her and she had put the top of the Chipotle bag on her head as a hat! She wore it like that the whole time we were there. Everyone who came in for lunch had a good laugh:) (including Danielle's mom and sister!) Scott took this picture on his phone (thus, the high quality photo:)) She is such a hoot!

New York

Kyle and Scott went to New York on Weds. and Thursday this week for the AD TECH show. They sent this picture to us for Kenzi. She LOVES Elmo!!

Good News for Kristie!

Kristie was chosen to be a DARE role model!! She will visit the middle or elementary schools and teach them about being drug-free. We are so proud of her!!!!

PEEK!

Scott is making room in the basement for a workout center, so he brought this cupboard upstairs and out of the way. Nice hiding place for Kenzi:) PEEK!

This morning Callahan spent a lot of time fixing up these little bunk beds for Kenzi and her baby dolls....oh, and Sadie too:)

More pictures from the baptism:)

Julie Bucher and Sue Lucke, two dear friends of ours came to Camryn's baptism too!

Sweet Sophie and Camryn!

Family Picture Time!

Camryn's baptism

Friday, November 6th was Camryn's special baptism and confirmation day!

More Pump It Up!

Carson and Addy went through the obstacle course AGAIN!
PEEK!
The whole gang!!

Jumping, jumping and more jumping!

Camryn's birthday was on a day off of school. It was election day, so this lucky girl had no school on her birthday! We headed to Pump It Up to celebrate! Kyle and Kenzi flew through the big obstacle course several times!
Sophie is flying down the slide (that was my favorite!).
Kristie and Kenzi raced Elizabeth and Addy through the obstacle course:)
Kenzi could climb up and go down the huge slide all by herself!

Camryn is 8, let's celebrate!

Camryn Jayne Hinckley was born on November 3, 2001 at 8:35am. We are so thankful for this beautiful (inside and out) little girl in our family!!She and our neighbor, Catherine, love to play dolls. Now they have matching ones:)
I love shopping with Camryn. She knows exactly what she likes and makes decisions so quickly! She picked out this cute outfit from Justice. We had 3 blue outfits, and 3 blue ones and somehow she liked all the pink ones:)

Halloween

On Halloween, we had our friends, the Beckstead's, over for pizza and trick or treating. Camyrn was a cowgirl, Kenzi was Tigger, and Callahan was a Strongsville football player. Alexis was Hermoine Granger and Ethan was a transformer. Jaret and his mom went trick or treating with us too. Sydney joined the girls:) The more, the merrier! Kenzi's little bucket was so full, so we stopped at home, thinking she would just stay home and pass out candy and eat some of her candy. No way! The big kids were going back out and so was she! She got an occasion piggy back ride but for the most part, she walked! What a trooper!
