Memorial Day

Kristie french braided Kenzi's hair and painted her nails red, white and blue for Memorial Day. We went to a park for breakfast and games with church. Eve and Kenzi ate chocolate doughnuts together:)

Check out these adorable door knobs!

The redecorated bathroom is almost done!

First day at the pool!

The Saturday before Memorial Day is when our development pool opens. We were there the minute it opened! It wasn't crowded and was very fun! Thanks to the Sartschevs for the invite!

Cuttin' and Gluin'

Kenzi wanted to learn how to cut, so I gave her strips of paper and showed her how to hold the scissors and the snipping began! The little black pieces were everywhere! Camryn wanted in on the fun and then the glue sticks came out, and then the markers and......voila! ART!

Slip-N-Slide time!

Just another sign that summer is almost here! Love it!

Look what I got in the mail!!!

Jill Olsen who is five levels above me in Stampin' Up! always sends a nice card to those in her downline who are in her top 30 in sales each month. I have received her cute cards 2 or 3 times. She has about 5,000 in her five levels of downline. In March, I was in her top 30 and she not only sent this beautiful card, she sent us a Stampin' Up! Simply Adorned necklace in a cute handmade box! You can stamp anything and slip it inside the necklace and then you can add charms around it. How fun!!

Playgroup at the Park

Swingin' with Susie, Addy, Mitchell and Sue....
and Rachael, Megan and Nathan:)
This was a bit too high for me to be comfortable with Kenzi climbing, but not too high for Kenzi!
Check out that static-hair!!! Love it!

Every spring and summer I organize a playgroup that goes to a different park each week. My social butterfly, Kenzi, cannot wait for Thursdays to come so she can go to playgroup (me too)! It is a very sad day when it rains and we can't go:( Today, was beautiful and hot and fun!

Carson's Middle School Concert

Carson plays the baritone saxophone in band and Jazz Band. I had to get a picture of how HUGE it is. He won't be playing it next year, since he will be in marching band:) Back to the alto sax!

Sprinkler time!

It was hot enough to go in the sprinkler! Kenzi LOVED it! Good fun with good neighbors:)

I love Spring!!

Everything is blooming! I love all the beautiful color! Check out this Iris, it is white with a purple ruffle. It is my all time favorite of all my flowers. My irises haven't bloomed well for years and this year there were TONS of blooms!! I was/am SO excited!! So, it is official, I have become my mom. We tease her that she takes so many pictures of flowers and now that is me! I couldn't think of a better person to become:) I love you, Mom!
