Making Mac and Cheese
Eve and Kenzi were playing while Jessica and I were stamping invites for Primary. Then when we were hungry (they eat lunch early, just like us!!) the kids wanted to make macaroni and cheese (surprise, surprise). I was playing with my new camera lens and got this cute shot. You can't see the mac and cheese, but you CAN see those sweet smiles!!
Best babysitter!
Valentine's Date
Kenzi-roo
Check out this get-up! Kenzi plays SO well by herself. I love sitting at my computer or stamping in the playroom, at my desk and listening to her. On this particular day, she was going on a trip. She has a leotard on first, then her coat, mismatched dress up shoes, several newly packed bags and of course, her hat:)

Sunday lesson in Primary
It is my turn to teach Sharing Time in Primary this month. We teach the 3-7 year olds first and then the 8-12 year olds. Bascially, we can use the same lesson for each, just modify a bit. SO, I am excited about this lesson on The Atonement. I want these little ones to begin to understand their Savior, Jesus Christ and his sacrifice for them. I decide to use the round chalkboards that I made in college. I made 24 of them and then I have a sock as an eraser with chalk in it. The kids love them! So I had them draw a picture of a time when they didn't make a good choice. I gave them some examples...when you hit your sister, or didn't listen to your mom, or ate your brother's candy, etc. So then we talked about how they felt when that happened and what they could do to make it better. We talked about feeling sad, saying sorry, asking for forgiveness and then trying not to do it again. Then I had them erase their chalkboards, so their sin was all gone. Erased. That is what the Atonement does.....takes away our sins so we can live with our Savior again. Beautiful lesson, right?
Well, as we were drawing our pictures on our chalkboards, I hear my little Kenzi's voice say to her teacher, "Can you draw me a tiger?"
I guess we will revisit this lesson with her at another time......
Stampin' Retreat
Friday and Saturday were jam packed with good ole' stampin' fun! Stephanie and I had a retreat from 10-3 each day and we had a ball! So many good friends supported us and they went home happy with all their fun projects:) Here are some of the cards we made...
This is the 8 cards plus tote class using rub ons....
The card below is a match cover card....
The card below is my favorite.....just another WOW card. (Don't you just want to say, "WOW" when you look at it?)
This HELLO card (above) is an easel card.
This friend card (above) is a pop up card.
This is our altered 3D project. It is a rolodex from Walmart. (Don't bother going to Walmart to get one, we bought them all....at every store in the Cleveland area and they don't seem to be restocking!)
A table of sample cards from Leadership swaps.....

Messy, messy, messy
This is how Kenzi and I spent our morning...amidst messes. I don't know why I have to make a mess to stamp, but I do! And not just on ONE table top either! I wish I could change that about myself. BUT Callahan and Camryn's valentines are DONE and that is happy news:) I love how Kenzi plays close enough to me, so that I can hear her little conversations with her Barbies. It is the sweetest thing to sit and listen to her play. She is such a dear!
