Book Club

One of Kristie's favorite books is Icing on the Cake. She decided to have a book club party and talk (giggle, laugh out loud, etc.) about the book and then make cupcakes and stamp cards with cupcakes on them. She invited a few friends and they had a great time!!

Joy School Fun

I love when Joy School is at our house. I was so bummed this week, because Kenzi was sick, so we had to combine two Joy School days into one. We are on the Joy of Spontaneous Delight. We got to blow bubbles in a bowl of soapy water and fingerpaint with shaving cream. So fun! I think I have ended up with this lesson for each of our kiddos when they went to Joy School!!

Kenzi's Valentines

Kenzi loves stamping with the All in the Family set. We made each one of her friends at Joy School a personalized valentine. The stamp set has all different heads, bodies, clothes and arms and legs. We spent the morning making each little person:) So fun!

Snow Fun!

Kenzi and I were shoveling and playing in the snow. She wanted to make a snow angel:)

Happy Forty-Something Birthday!

Kyle came home for Scott's birthday weekend. His birthday was on Thursday, Feb. 3 and we took Scott out for dinner to Macaroni Grill, his new favorite. Kyle spend to whole weekend, so that was fun:) Of course we had cherry pie for Scott's birthday cake:) Kenzi helped me make the pie:)

Mansfield trip to see Kyle

We had the day off of school, so we piled in the car and were going to meet Kyle in Mansfield (half way between Strongsville and Columbus). When we got to Mansfield, Kyle called to tell us his tire had blown out on the highway. We went to find him and stayed on the side of the road with him until the AAA tow truck came to help and afterwards. It took quite awhile. I think I prayed most of the time we were waiting. Sitting on the side of the highway, even in a car, is rather scary. We got Kyle's tire fixed and had a late lunch. I was grateful for all the snacks I had in the car and that the Lord protected Kyle and all of us.

Minute To Win It Party

Kristie hosted a Minute To Win It party with some of her friends. She made a cute banner and I planned the challenges, so that no one knew what we they were going to be doing. Each ridiculous challenge earned points for each team. Some of the challenges were..... getting a marble in a certain hole on an ironing board.....Getting 6 penne pasta on a spaghetti noodle held in their mouths.....wrapping a partner in toilet paper in one minute by having the person who was being wrapped, spin around. It was really fun and everyone was a good sport:)
