Chocolate Factory-6/27/09

Today is Kyle's graduation party day! Bright and early, we made graduation caps out of Ghiradelli chocolates, mini Reese's cups and chocolate chips.  The kids helped me and it was so much fun!  They did a great job! ~Teri

Our cousins are in town!!!-June 26, 2009

Happy Day!  Our cousins are here!  My brother, Chris, and his sons, Ben and Jacob flew in from Las Vegas and my brother, Michael, and his wife, Marie and their girls, Payton and Peri came from Phoenix!!  We love cousin time!  We went to the Indian's game the first night they were all here.  ~Teri

Old Oyster Factory

My parents always go to the Old Oyster Factory one of the nights at Hiltonhead.  We celebrated Father's Day there with my dad.  What a great man:)  He has taught me so much!  Happy Father's Day, Dad!

We ended up driving home all in one day, so we could be home with Scott for Father's Day.  Fourteen hours all at once.  Not fun, but we did it!!  The kids were great in the car and we had a wonderful week with my parents.  Thanks so much, Mom and Dad!  Thanks Gramma and Papa! We love you~Teri

STILL having fun in HH

We went to the outlet mall one morning and Kristie and Elizabeth found the shoe store of their dreams!  Look at the cute shoes they bought! (Kristie-white, Elizabeth-zebra)

On our last night in Hiltonhead, we didn't have time to go to an ice cream place, so we went to CVS and bought cartons of Ben and Jerry's ice cream.  We thought this picture would be a good commercial for them.  YUM!!

More HH FUN!

Kenzi has a THING about chapstick.  She puts it on and then sucks in her bottom lip.  I think she is eating it off her bottom lip.  It is the funniest thing:)  Anyhow, we were waiting for food at the Salty Dog Cafe and it kept her in her highchair and happy, so whatever works!!
We rented bikes and loved to go on bike rides, especially on the beach.  That was a highlight of our trip! ~and good exercise too!  One of the times we went, I had Kenzi in a baby seat on the back of my bike.  Kristie's bike chain suddenly came off her bike.  We were WAY down the beach and no one was around to help, so I put the chain back on MYSELF!  That was not an easy task and my hands were black from the grease, but I did it!  I got the Grease Monkey award for the day:)
Oh, look!  I was there too! I loved spending time with Callahan:)  What a great kiddo!
My mom got a bag of hershey kisses, the purple dark chocolate kind when we went grocery shopping and said she would need help eating them.  No problem!  We melted them in the microwave and started dipping everything in sight!

Have I said how much fun we had in Hiltonhead yet?  I have lots of favorite pictures, so we will just keep on posting til I run out!  This is one of my favorite pictures of Camryn.  My mom taught her how to play Rummy, so that was her game of choice for the trip.  She is so fun to play with:)~Teri

Harbor Town, SC

We go to Harbor Town and listen to Greg Russell sing outside under the old oak tree every time we go to Hiltonhead.  It is a tradition.  At Harbor Town, there is a fun playground too.  This enormous tree has a horizontal branch that we always take pictures on.  I love that cute look!  The first night we went, a storm started rolling in and Kenzi felt it coming. She kept yelling, UNDER! (thunder!) and covering her head.  We made it to the trolley just it time before the rain poured.  The trolley took us to our car and we made it home.  We tried again the next night, and once again, it looked like a storm was coming.  We decided to get ice cream and then leave.  All of a sudden Greg Russell started playing his guitar and singing and the storm never came, so we got to see the show:)
I just had to throw in this picture!  Kenzi has to wear googles like the big kids even though they don't come close to fitting her.  They DO look mighty fine on  her head though, don't they?  Honestly, I have to keep reminding her that she is TWO not ten!!
