Zoo fun!

Fall is the BEST time to go to the zoo! The girls love to jump in the leaves. SO, the first pile of leaves they found, they were jumping and rolling in them! They were actually little piles that the zoo workers had made in hopes of picking them up, I am sure. However, after the girls found them, they weren't very pretty piles anymore. Sorry!! Our little baby koala bear is growing up!

We're going to the Zoo...

Kenzi, Addy, Susie and I go to the zoo a couple times a month. The girls love it there and so do we! We saw a baby Koala bear this time hugging his mama in the tree, snoozin' away. So sweet!

We're going to the Zoo...

Our playgroup went to the zoo on Thursday. It was a beautiful day and it seemed as if everyone else in the county also went that day! Kenzi was looking forward to it all week. She kept saying it was too hard to wait that long! She thought Thursday would NEVER come!

We're going to the zoo, zoo, zoo...

We decide to walk up the huge wooden ramps to get to the upper level of the zoo. It seemed like there was so much construction at the zoo and there were hardly any animals out. When we came across this big pile of leaves on the ramp, we couldn't resist!

Then when Kenzi was climbing on the railings (see below), she said, "Look Mom! A cable tie!"

How funny is that! We have trained her well, I guess. When I told Scott about it, he told us he would teach how to tell if it is a cable tie that WE sell. Onto the next cable tie lesson....

Cleveland Zoo with playgroup

I have organized a weekly playgroup for summer and fall every year since Kyle (yes, Kyle) has been two years old.  This was our outing to the zoo.  It started out as a chilly day, so Kenzi wanted to wear Callahan's jacket into the zoo to keep warm.  She was so cute about it!
