Kenzi

Yesterday I told Kenzi to hop up on the scale to see how much she weighs. She stood up there, and I said, "30-1/2 pounds! WOO HOO!" Kenzi looks at me and says, "Can I go to school now?" She is so cute, she knew that going to school was dependent on some magic number.....

Callahan's concerts

Callahan had a band and choir concert this week. He did such a great job! He takes private saxophone lessons and does so well. One of his many talents....

Silly Banz

These SillyBanz are the latest craze. Camryn made hers and Kenzi's into a graph to see how many she had of each and which ones she can trade. You get four of each design so you have plenty to trade with others.

We're going to the Zoo...

Our playgroup went to the zoo on Thursday. It was a beautiful day and it seemed as if everyone else in the county also went that day! Kenzi was looking forward to it all week. She kept saying it was too hard to wait that long! She thought Thursday would NEVER come!

Activity Days

When the little girls turn eight in our church, they get to go to Activity Days and begin their Faith In God program. Kristie took this picture of Jaden, Camryn and Sydney at Activity Days. The girls LOVE to get together twice a month and work on their goals:)

Temple Trip

Kristie and Carson went on the youth temple trip to Columbus. This is a picture of Elizabeth and Kristie in front of the temple that day.

Stamp Camp

These are the cards we made at my May Stamp Camp. We made the same ones for my downline meeting. The first two separate ones are the two I made for our downline meeting swap. I love that set, Friends 24-7!

Kenzi is in a big girl bed!

What a big week for Kenzi-roo! She starting potty training, riding a two wheeler bike with training wheels AND is sleeping in a big girl bed (Camryn's trundle). STOP growing up!!!

Sisterly Fun

Kristie painted Kenzi's toesies. They have so much fun together! Kenzi tells Kristie and Camryn, "You are my bestest sisters!"

Mother's Day Tea

Our Brownie Troop had a Mother's Day Tea. We made candy roses for the moms and had fruit kabobs, cookies and lemonade. The girls learned a song to sing to them and then introduced and served their moms. We got all dressed up pretty and had a really nice afternoon:) Thanks Camryn:)

Honey Hut

After school, we packed up the kids and went to Honey Hut for ice cream. YUM!

Kenzi and Addie

Stamp Camps are so fun for Kenzi too, because her friends come and play while their moms stamp! Kenzi and Addie played SO well all afternoon. Susie was finished stamping her cards in record time, and had to stay longer because there was NO WAY the girls were done playing THAT fast! So I put Susie to work stamping more cards:0) Thanks Susie!

Mother's Day

Mother's Day started with my Wheaties breakfast waiting for me when I woke up:) We went to church, and then had our parents over for dinner. Scott and I are blessed with wonderful mothers! Growing up, all I ever wanted to be was a mommy. I am SO grateful to have that dream come true:)

Math Competition

Callahan was asked to participate in a Math Competition at Kinsner. Other area schools are invited to compete also. It was on a Saturday morning, and they put the students in teams from each school. They had a certain amount to time to compete math problems together. When Scott and I looked at some of the problems that they had to solve, we were glad that we weren't competing! Go Callahan!

Prom

Kyle took Danielle to her Senior Prom. They look beautiful and handsome, all in one!

Kirtland

Our Stake Relief Society had a program at the Kirtland Temple. Shelly, and her daughter, Amanda went with Kristie and I. It was so awesome! Afterwards, we went to ice cream and then drove home in the most incredible hail/rainstorm we have ever seen!

West Side Market

Kenzi and our neighbors and I took a field trip to the West Side Market. I haven't been there in many, many years. I was expecting lots of fruits and veggies, but guess what else they had???? BREAD! My favorite thing I found was Pretzel Rolls! I bought 2, one for me and one for Kristie (who has inherited my love of carbs). I ate the first one for lunch and truly didn't want to share the other one:(..........but I did. Of course she loved it as much as I did:) We went outside on these cool rocks to eat lunch afterwards. Caden and Kenzi are so cute together:)

Elton John Concert

Scott and Kyle went to the Elton John Concert on Saturday, May 1st in Youngstown, Ohio. They said it was just incredible!! The pictures aren't the greatest, just look towards the piano and Elton John is there somewhere:)

Kirtland

Shelly, Sue and I went to Historic Kirtland for a tour. We got to see our sweet sister missionary, Sister Frisch and spend the day with her and her companions. I hadn't been there in years and forgot how much I LOVE it there! If you haven't gone, you must go! There is so much history! I love the tours through all the old stores, school, water mill, etc. I love the beauty, the old musty smells and I love learning all about the pioneers. I love their dresses, bonnets, dishes, lifestyle, and most of all, I am reminded of their sacrifices and their love of the Lord. I can't wait to go back:)

Baskin Robbins 31 cent night

Kristie found out when BR's 31 cents scoop night was! It was the night she volunteers at Southwest Hospital, and as luck would have it, there is a Baskin Robbins close to the hospital. She got her Southwest buddies to go with her and brave the long lines and get their ice cream!

Time Out

The FUNNEST (is that a word??) time out there ever was! At our house, time out is not a happy thing. However, our Deseret Book puts on wonderful Time Out for Women conferences and they are very happy! There are inspirational speakers and singers for two days! It was so uplifting! And look at the cute tote bag we got too!
We grabbed Hilary Weeks, an incredible singer, for a quick pic with Kristie and Elizabeth:)

Carson-Track

This is the first year Carson has run track. He did the long jump and the hurdles. He did a great job!! We had some beautiful weather for meets which I totally appreciate:) For the home meeets, Scott backed his car up to the fence and open the back and we sat there and ate popcorn and watched. It looked like we were watching fireworks! Fun!
