Easter

I can't believe it! This is the only picture I have of Easter Sunday. I actually brought my camera to church, thinking someone there could take a picture of all of us all pretty, because I knew when we got home, most of us would be OUT of those clothes and into comfy ones. Well, no picture was taken at church:( And sure enough, not many stayed in church clothes once we got home. HOWEVER, I DID make these homemade yeast rolls which were SO yummy and pretty that I HAD to take a picture! Happy Easter!

Doing Kristie's hair

Kenzi wanted to fix Kristie's hair. Kristie sat on a stool while Kenzi stood and brushed and brushed and brushed.Too cute!

Neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt

Our sweet neighbors, the Vighs, host an Easter Egg Hunt every year in their backyard. We never know what the weather will be! We have hunted for eggs in two feet of snow, beautiful sunny days and this year, it was in the MUD! One of the big kids was running to find eggs and fell and slid half way down the backyard!

Church Easter Egg Hunt

Our friend organized an Easter Egg Hunt at her house, hoping for a beautiful sunny day. All we have had is rain, so we had to have it at the church. Still fun!

Modest Prom

Every year our church has a Modest Prom for ages 16 and up. Kristie went over to one of the Young Women leaders' homes to get ready with friends and have dinner. Elizabeth did Kristie's hair for her:) They all looked so pretty!

Kyle is 20!!

Kyle had his 20th birthday on Wednesday. It was quite an emotional day. His friend, Anthony, died over Spring Break in Miami, Florida and his funeral was on Wednesday. Our hearts are breaking for Anthony's family. They are in our prayers every day. We were in Columbus for a few days to see Kyle and that was really nice for all of us. We love Kyle so much!!

Camryn's Third Grade Program

Camryn's music program had a garden theme and she had to dress up like something in a garden. She wanted to be a ladybug and her sweet teacher, Mrs. Broadbent had a costume she could borrow. She looked so cute! These are two of her friends, Kristyn and Maddie.

BYU BOUND!!!

Kristie was accepted to BYU-Idaho and BYU in Provo, Utah. What a hard decision! She spent many days praying about where to go for college and here she is accepting BYU!! She will go out to Utah at the end of August. So exciting!!

COSI in Columbus

Over Spring Break, we went to Columbus for a few days. Wednesday was Kyle's 20th birthday and we wanted to spend some time with him. Here we are at COSI:) Kenzi loved the water and the big kids loved the unicycle!

The Incredibles!

Our church had a Super Hero dance for ages 14 and up. Here is our Incredibles family:) So fun!!

Old Navy Friends

Every time we go to Old Navy, Kenzi has to stop and greet her "friends". She truly has a kinship with these guys. She talks to them as if it has been so long since she's seen them! It's quite cute and comical!

Daddy will you play dollhouse with me?

Every morning Kenzi asks Scott this question, "Daddy. will you play dollhouse with me?" And every morning he does. He creates malls, and buildings and stores, etc. for her as they play. It warms my heart to see/hear them playing dollhouse together:)

Piano Festival

Camryn was in the piano festival at Cleveland State University. She memorized two piano pieces and then they are graded. She got a Superior rating and was so excited! Jaden and Katelyn also participated. We made a fun day out of it with lunch and then a playdate afterwards:) We are so grateful for her teacher, Sister Snyder!

Fun with the Horstmanns!

Our dear friends, the Horstmann's moved to Columbus, so we try to meet in Mansfield when we can. Here are the kiddos on the carousel:) We had a yummy lunch and then played at the library:)

Camryn and Scott made their Powder Puff Derby car together and then raced it at the mall. Camryn's car was purple with a rhinestone "C" on it:0) So cute! Hers was the second from the left in the line up on the track.

Miracle Babies

Kenzi and I got to go the Romell's house for a playdate. I met their mom in the NICU when her triplets and Kenzi were next to each other. Terrie and I became fast friends and have tried to have playdates to stay in touch. It warms my heart to see Lydia, William and Sydney. We know and lived all they went through and are so grateful for each one of them!

Sommers Sleepover

We got to have the Sommer's girls for a big long weekend while their parents went house-hunting in South Carolina. We were so busy having fun, that we didn't take many pictures! We went to Olympia for ice cream one night. YUM! Addie and Kenzi were reading books together at one point, so I grabbed a quick picture:) We love these girls!

Book Club

One of Kristie's favorite books is Icing on the Cake. She decided to have a book club party and talk (giggle, laugh out loud, etc.) about the book and then make cupcakes and stamp cards with cupcakes on them. She invited a few friends and they had a great time!!

Joy School Fun

I love when Joy School is at our house. I was so bummed this week, because Kenzi was sick, so we had to combine two Joy School days into one. We are on the Joy of Spontaneous Delight. We got to blow bubbles in a bowl of soapy water and fingerpaint with shaving cream. So fun! I think I have ended up with this lesson for each of our kiddos when they went to Joy School!!

Kenzi's Valentines

Kenzi loves stamping with the All in the Family set. We made each one of her friends at Joy School a personalized valentine. The stamp set has all different heads, bodies, clothes and arms and legs. We spent the morning making each little person:) So fun!

Snow Fun!

Kenzi and I were shoveling and playing in the snow. She wanted to make a snow angel:)
