Columbus Temple Trip
First Day of School:(
It is tradition to take first day of school pictures at the front door. Kenzi grabbed a backpack and shoved some treasures inside and she was good to go! As exciting as the beginning of school is, I just dread it. I love having my kiddos home all summer!! I am not ready for them to leave! But I know they will do great and make some new, good friends.

Stampin' Up! Convention-August 2009
Utah Trip-August 1, 2009
Kristie and I went to Utah for a week. She was going to EFY (Especially for Youth) which is a week long youth conference with our church and I was going to the Stampin' Up! convention. The day we got there, we went straight to Temple Square! We were taking pictures in front of this water fall, and Elder Banks, a General Authority from our church asked if he could take a picture of use together. How nice!
This is the majestic Salt Lake Temple. It took 40 years to build and it is absolutely amazing!
Kristie and I went to the Visitor's Center near the Temple and one of the missionaries took our picture below the statue of Christ. It is so beautiful!!
We toured the Conference Center which is another incredible building. It just love hearing all the little facts about it throughout the tour. I never tire of the tours and information I can learn there!
This picture was taken as we were leaving Temple Square. It shows the Book of Mormon in all different languages. Kristie is pointing to German. She is in her fourth year of German and loves it! Now Carson has started his first year of German. We have many German ancestors:)
The second day we were there, we met up with our dear friends, the Sorensens. Lori and I took Kristie to Brigham Young University in Provo where her youth conference was. Lori and I got to spend the day together:) What a treat for me!
The next day I met my friend, Marietta and we went to the temple together and then to do family history in the ENORMOUS family history library. She is a family history specialist, so she really knows what to do and where to go to find things. It was so nice to spend the day with her!

David and Danielle's Wedding Reception-August 1st
EFY and Casey Day!! July 13, 2009
Today we took Carson to a youth conference (Especially For Youth-EFY) in Columbus. I am so excited for him! It is from Monday through Saturday and there are spiritual classes, fun dances and activities and a service project. Your testimony grows SO much when you are there! This is the first time he can go, since you have to be 14 years old. He will have a GREAT time! After we dropped him off, we were able to spend time with our dear friends, the Caseys, who moved to Columbus. I always treasure this time with my sweet friend, Sharon. We never have enough time together, but we truly love the time we DO have!!
Molly and Camryn are about 10 weeks apart in age and they LOVE being together! The more Molly Days we have, the better!
Doesn't this look like Riley just told Kenzi a secret? Callahan loves to play with Riley when we are at the Caseys! Kenzi loves Riley too!
Here are the girls! Kristie was at girl's camp, so she couldn't come, but she and Megan usually have a great time together:) ~Teri
